Teacher of Product Design
PART TIME (0.4FTE)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic part time Teacher of Product Design (Resistant Materials).

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and innovative Product Design teacher who is passionate about delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences in Product Design (Resistant Materials) across the Senior School. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom, ensuring that students are engaged and motivated to achieve their best. Beyond the classroom, they will actively contribute to the vibrant creative life of the school, helping to build a rich and dynamic environment for all students.

The candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop the Product Design curriculum, staying at the forefront of emerging technologies whilst also using traditional skills to deliver exciting lessons. A commitment to continuous innovation and the ability to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of today's learners are essential qualities. Experience in teaching A Level Product Design is highly desirable, as is a dedication to inspiring students to excel in their studies and develop a lifelong passion for design.

The post is offered on the GDST’s own teaching scale.

For the right candidate there may be an opportunity to lead on our careers curriculum as a maternity cover.
