Teacher of Physical Education - maternity cover
FULL TIME
Required from November 2024

An enthusiastic, inspiring and well qualified teacher of Physical Education is required for up to one year from November 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and inspiring teacher to join our experienced and dynamic department.

The successful candidate will possess excellent subject knowledge and be able to contribute to teaching and activities across the Prep and Senior Schools. The ability to coach and lead teams in hockey, netball and cricket, as well as to support the wider work of the department to encourage both participation and the pursuit of sporting excellence for the girls, is an essential requirement. A strong commitment to co-curricular activities is vital.

Due to an extensive midweek fixture programme in both the Prep and Senior schools, a strong commitment to co-curricular activities is vital.

The post is offered on the GDST’s own salary scale.

For the right candidate there may be an opportunity to to lead on our careers curriculum as a maternity cover.
