Applications are invited for the position of part-time (0.6 – 0.8 FTE) Teacher of Art from September 2024 to join our successful Art and Textiles department. We run GCSE and A Level courses in Fine Art and therefore require an experienced and committed teacher for these as well as the teaching of KS3 art and textiles. Fine Art is a popular part of the curriculum and many girls progress onto either Art Foundation or degree courses.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and innovative teacher who can demonstrate flair in the classroom and motivate as well as challenge students of all abilities.
Specialist skills in painting and drawing are an essential part of this job role. Additionally, the ability to teach across a range of art specialisms including photography, 3D design or graphics would be beneficial but not essential.
